Chief Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions.Compensation:

$16 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and evaluate building systems to identify required maintenance, repairs, or system upgrades.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage the performance of maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and performance oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex maintenance issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software systems.
