Minimum Education
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training
Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy for Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified, or obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire. Licensure required. PTCB for pharmacy students can be waived for those who have an active Pharmacist Intern License. Six months of previous hospital experience preferred.
Shift
- Rotating shift
- Dayshift-07:00 am-3:30 pm
- Evening -3:00 pm-11:30 pm
- Nightshift -Occasional -9:00 pm-7:30 am (10-hour)
- Weekend & holiday work is also required
