STS is now hiring a High School Work-Based Learning Paraprofessional to support students at Garden Spot High School in the Eastern Lancaster County School District.
Location: Garden Spot High School – New Holland, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:20 AM – 2:35 PM
Pay: $15.65/hour
Position Summary
Support high school students with learning disabilities as they build the academic, social, and workplace skills needed for success after graduation. This role involves providing individualized support in the classroom, community, and job sites while encouraging independence, confidence, and self-advocacy. Responsibilities also include safely driving a school vehicle to transport learners to and from work placements, community-based instruction, and other approved destinations as needed. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring young adults and helping them prepare for life beyond high school.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Experience working with high school students, individuals with disabilities, or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Dependable, patient, and committed to helping students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Pay: $15.65 per hour
