We’re looking for a Civil Structural Engineer with direct substation experience to join our growing team. In this mid-level role, you’ll design concrete foundations and steel structures for substations that power the national grid. This is a technical, non-supervisory position ideal for engineers looking to deepen their impact on major utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering designs and calculations for concrete foundations and steel support structures
- Analyze structures using tools like STAAD, MathCAD, and LPILE
- Create and review engineering deliverables, working closely with designers and drafters
- Ensure all designs meet ASCE 113 and other applicable codes and standards
- Collaborate across teams to support high-quality, timely project delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3-7 years of civil/structural engineering experience in substation projects
- Proficiency in STAAD, MathCAD, LPILE, or comparable analysis tools
- Experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel design
- Familiarity with transmission and distribution utility standards

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
