Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a NETA-Electrical Testing Technician working out of Indianapolis, IN. The technician will perform electrical testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power distribution equipment, including switchgear, relays, breakers, and transformers. Responsibilities include conducting field inspections, quality control, documentation of test results, and adherence to industry and safety standards. The role requires collaboration with team members and clear communication with clients to ensure system reliability and efficient performance.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control and Analytical Skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
- Proficiency in Laboratory Testing and Troubleshooting electrical systems
- Excellent Communication skills for team collaboration and reporting findings clearly
- Working knowledge of electrical power systems, including switchgear, relays, breakers, and transformers
- Relevant certifications, such as NETA Level II or higher, are a plus
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as required
