Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic facilitator who is a go getter! Must be able to coordinate assigned curriculum programs, work with partners and understand young people and trauma. We need a confident individual who can work independently.
Duties:
- Organize and facilitate a curriculum program (already developed) to school aged youth.
- Able to use motivational interviewing to assess resources and referrals as needed.
- Organized.
- Turn in required paperwork on time.
- Ability to work with a small team.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills are mandatory.
- Other prevention and coalition activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree is required. Bachelor's preferred.
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Must be able to pass a background check to work in a school setting.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in social work for dealing with diverse populations
