What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach Case Manager position at Substance Abuse Center of Kansas Inc?
Substance Abuse Center of Kansas is seeking to fill a full-time position for an Outreach Case Manager in the Wichita area. This position will be primarily working with unhoused participants in various shelters including encampments, shelter environments, and permanent supportive housing programs. Successful applicants will possess or be willing to obtain certification as a Kansas Certified Peer Mentor and have knowledge in the area of substance abuse and aspects of recovery and community resources. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be proficient in the use of computer applications. Duties will include sharing recovery experience, scheduling assessments, connecting individuals with social determinants of health, and supporting long-term recovery goals. We offer health insurance, holidays, three weeks paid leave, and other additional benefits. Starting pay is $15.00-$16.00 an hour.
