CAD Drafter
We are a general contractor, who also designs and constructs raw product storage structures for the agricultural industry. We cater to farmers and processors across the nation.
Overview:
We are seeking a talented CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other AutoDesk Applications. Your precision and attention to detail will be essential in producing accurate plans for proposals, permitting, fabrication and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and construction plans based on specifications provided by engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with the specific teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, and Autodesk products to create 2D and 3D models.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Review and modify designs to correct any errors or discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized library of technical drawings and project files.
- Coordinate with other departments to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of construction design principles.
- Ability to create accurate 2D plans and plot for visual representation.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in drafting and design.
Experience is preferred. However, skill level and interest is most important.
