Automotive Detailer

Porsche Arrowhead is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing new, pre-owned, service, and customer vehicles to meet Porsche Arrowhead’s high standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, floor mats, dashboards, consoles, windows, and door panels.
• Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and exterior trim.
• Apply tire dressing, waxes, polishes, protectants, and other detailing products.
• Remove dirt, stains, odors, debris, and minor surface imperfections.
• Use buffers, extractors, pressure washers, vacuums, and other detailing equipment safely and correctly.
• Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for display, customer delivery, and dealership events.
• Detail customer vehicles after service or repair work, as assigned.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards.
• Report vehicle damage, missing items, or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Move and park vehicles safely throughout the dealership property.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detail area.
• Properly store and maintain detailing supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, environmental, and safety procedures.
• Assist other departments with vehicle preparation and transportation when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous automotive detailing, car wash, dealership, or related experience is preferred.
• Experience detailing luxury or high-end vehicles is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate automatic-transmission vehicles; manual-transmission experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple vehicles and complete assignments within required timeframes.
• Professional attitude and respect for customer and dealership property.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and crouch for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, water, vehicle exhaust, and automotive equipment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including Arizona heat, rain, cold, and wind.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and detailing tasks throughout the workday.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines.
