Job Summary

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs and modifications effectively.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical components.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while providing excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair timelines accurately to customers.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair.
• Extensive knowledge of ADAS technology, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, and suspension systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for complex automotive electrical systems.
• Skilled in performing powertrain repairs, wheel alignments, tire services, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and oil changes.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills coupled with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
