Responsibilities
- Program CNC equipment including flat sheet laser cutters, press brakes, turret punch presses, panel benders, 5-axis routers, and custom automated coil-fed equipment
- Oversee the process of manufacturing FAI sample parts, prototypes, and production trial runs
- Troubleshoot program and tooling issues alongside machine operators and maintenance technicians
- Develop production routings, time standards, bill of materials (BOMs) and work instructions
- Work with design and quality engineering to improve manufacturing drawings and inspection plans as part of new product introductions and continuous improvement projects
- Help achieve cost reduction and material utilizations targets
- This position requires 6 to 12 days of domestic travel for training over the first 4 months.
