The Sous Chef supports the Corporate Chef at our Scottsdale, AZ Showroom by assisting with food preparation, cooking demonstrations, menu development, ordering, and overall kitchen operations. This role ensures a smooth, efficient, and well-organized kitchen environment while delivering an exceptional culinary experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present food for events and demonstrations
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including post-event cleanup
- Supervise kitchen operations in the Chef’s absence
- Support consumer cooking demonstrations and culinary events
- Manage ingredient ordering and inventory control
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong cooking and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events
