Sandwich Maker

Sub City in Waterloo, IA is looking for one or two sandwich makers to join our team. We are located at 3045 Kimball Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, reliable, and engaged.

We have an immediate opening for one or two reliable persons who take pride their work and are committed to providing excellent customer service.

Effective pay rate (with tips included) averages $11.50 - $18.00 per hour. Weekly paycheck and also take home cash at the end of every shift!

Job Duties Include:

-Make sub sandwiches to customer specifications (includes operating meat slicer).

-Answer phone and take phone orders.

-Stock and fill ingredients and supplies.

-Perform light cleaning of store.

-Learn and follow company policies and procedures with a respectful and positive attitude.

-Demonstrate customer-focused attitude.

-Perform other tasks as assigned.

-NO waiting tables!

Requirements: 18 years of age or older (required by federal law to operate meat slicer). Will consider under 18 year olds for shorter shifts, or if you are within a couple of months of your 18th birthday.

Number of hours: 12 - 30 hours per week. Additional hours may be available, depending on your availability, but are not guaranteed. Currently looking for someone to work primarily Monday through Friday days, until 4:00 or 5:00 pm, though the person may occasionally be scheduled a night or Saturday shift, if needed. 30 hours per week.

Schedule: We have a variety of shift times available, and prefer candidates who are flexible and have good availability, Monday through Saturday. Store hours currently are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Shifts are typically 4 - 6 hours long. We are closed Sundays and holidays! Currently looking for someone to work primarily Monday through Friday days, until 4:00 or 5:00 pm, though the person may occasionally be scheduled a night or Saturday shift, if needed. 30 hours per week.

At times, there will be the opportunity to pick up extra hours. However, extra hours are not guaranteed, so please do not apply for this position if you are looking for a full-time job. Scheduling is flexible, but preference will typically be given to applicants with the most open availability. This is a year-round position.
