From the first arc at 6:00 AM to the final inspection before 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, you’ll bring precision and pride to every bead you lay. As our FCAW Specialist in Louisville, KY, you’ll contribute to high‑quality products by turning blueprints into clean, consistent welds while keeping safety at the forefront.
What You’ll Tackle- Execute flux‑cored arc welds on components and assemblies per specifications and procedures.
- Read, interpret, and apply details from drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure fit‑up and accuracy.
- Inspect your work to verify quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Keep welding tools and equipment in top condition through routine care and basic troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to meet production targets and hit deadlines.
- Uphold all safety protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
- Engage in training and cross‑training to sharpen techniques and expand capabilities.

What You Bring- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational welding training is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience as a flux core/FCAW welder or related role.
- Solid understanding of welding processes, materials, and shop safety.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and weld symbols.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
