What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events & Marketing Outreach Intern position at Style On The Spot?
We are seeking polished, motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in outreach, client relations, and brand research within the fashion and marketing industry. Style on the Spot & Fashion Week Haus work with a diverse range of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and media clients through in-person events and strategic brand partnerships. We are a local boutique event and marketing firm founded by Cachita Hynes. Interns will work closely alongside her and a collaborative, fast-paced team.
This is a school credit–only internship designed to provide real-world exposure in a supportive, team-focused environment. This is an in-person opportunity, and candidates must be willing to commute to our offices in El Segundo, CA. We are looking for self-starters who are organized, curious, and confident communicators. You will develop professional outreach skills, gain insight into client-facing work, build industry relationships, and participate directly in fashion week programming and brand activations.
HOURS:
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COME IN OFFICE 2 DAYS A WEEK. Tuesday-Thursday only.
RESPONSIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Assist with brand and client research for partnerships and events
- Support outreach efforts to designers, brands, influencers, and media
- Help organize client lists, contact databases, and outreach materials
- Assist in drafting outreach emails and follow-ups
- Research industry trends, brands, and potential collaborators
- Assist with in-person events and brand activations
- Provide assistant support throughout Fashion Week programming
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong writing and research skills
- Understanding of Excel, spreadsheets, and Google Drive
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Interest in fashion, marketing, branding, and partnerships
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must have own transportation
- Must live in the Los Angeles area (out-of-area applicants will not be considered)
