Summary/Objective:
The Medical Coordinator assists the company's medical and safety team in protecting employees against harm, and maintain safe working conditions.
Job Description:
· Collect data on work environments within the company
· Assist EHS Manager in implementing programs
· Help provide first aid treatment to injured employees from various parts of the facility
· Conduct administrative duties to include scheduling appointments for employees
· Maintain employee’s medical records
· Clinical duties may include taking & recording vital signs, maintaining medical histories, and escorting individuals for urinary analysis.
· Coordinate with medical personnel to assist with employees for medical examinations, and administering medications as directed.
· Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
· Perform various other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Ability to read, write, speak English
· Bilingual is a plus
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional problem solving skills, good decision making skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently within the work environment
· Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
· This position needs to always be courteous and professional when communicating with employees
· Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Access), applicant tracking systems.
· Medical Experience preferred but not required.
