Senior Rail Systems Engineer

STV is seeking a Senior Rail Systems Engineer for our Rail Systems department at our Dallas, TX office. Responsibilities: Lead and support multidisciplinary rail systems engineering efforts including traction power, communications, signals, and SCADA. Develop and review technical specifications, design documents, drawings, and reports for rail transit systems. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated system solutions. Perform systems integration, interface management, and system verification and validation activities. Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and support project delivery and quality assurance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; PE license preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in rail systems engineering, preferably in a consulting or transit agency setting. Knowledge of transit infrastructure including signaling, traction power, communications, and control systems. Experience with industry standards (IEEE, AREMA, NFPA, etc.) and systems integration processes. Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders. Salary : $125,724 - $167,632
