Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with product placement, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations, including in our greenhouse. We are located 5 miles west of Hutchinson on Highway 61.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Assist in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately.
- Experience with merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately.
