Essential Functions
- Coordinate and oversee construction projects from initial planning through final completion.
- Prepare, review, and distribute project documentation including subcontract, billings, lien waivers, and change orders
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure project goals are met
- Maintain project files and ensure all records are accurate, up to date, and accessible
- Assist with obtaining necessary documentation, Certificates of Insurance, and compliance documentation
- Track and process incoming invoices; verify accuracy against contracts and purchase orders
- Generate and submit billing documents including progress billings and change order adjustments
- Provide administrative support such as document control and contract management
- Work with accounting teams to ensure timely vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain financial records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 -3 years of administrative support experience in the construction industry
- Associate degree preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to think practically in order to solve office problems and interface effectively with senior project personnel
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
