Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for coordinating the preparation of data in accordance with applicable regulatory reporting requirements and for performing a wide range of accounting functions in compliance with established policies and procedures. This position supports the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management and responds to inquiries from auditors and regulatory examiners. Additional responsibilities include posting entries to the general ledger, performing accounting calculations, reconciling accounts, maintaining internal records and carrying out other related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience Required:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with a concentration in Finance or Accounting
- Shows an aptitude for professional level business related communication with examiners and auditors, and all levels of management.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and shows the ability to work independently.
- Must be familiar with procedural framework. Is assigned specific projects and goals. Monitors projects to ensure their completion on schedule.
- Must have knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Must have good analytical abilities, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, certifications, and location.
Salary : $48,171 - $72,256
