Job Overview
We are seeking a local skilled SMT Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with JUKI SMT.
Qualifications/Skills
- Knowledge of safety and operation of Pick-n-Place machines
- Load feeders according to set up instructions
- Understand feeder sizes and pitches
- Component identification knowledge
- Load program on machine(s)
- Perform machine operator processes (startup, loading, adjusting, production runs, shutdown and alarms)
- Ability to conduct in-process inspection
- Knowledge of inspection process, component placement, orientation, plarity, value and missing parts
- Perform/assist in maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
- Read, understand and navigate through assembly process documents
- Basic Math skills
- Ability to communicate and follow instructions effectively in English both verbally and in written format
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on machine performance and production metrics
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility
- MUST HAVE SMT EXPERIENCE
