Assembler/Manufacturing

Sturdy Corporation (IATF-16949/ISO 14001 manufacturer) designs, manufactures and assembles electronic automotive and marine controls as well as multi-function display systems and LED lighting products. Located in Wilmington, NC, Sturdy Corporation has been a full-service provider of mechanical, electrical, electronic and software products for over 50 years. Operating from its "concept to completion" platform, the company has on-site capabilities to design, manufacture, validate and distribute quality products for the automotive, truck, marine, LED lighting and industrial markets.

Sturdy Corporation is seeking Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Wilmington, NC. This is a full-time, benefited, direct hire position that includes the following duties:

• Assemble, test, and package product following company procedures and ensuring high quality levels
• Read work orders and corresponding procedure prior to beginning any assembly job to ensure right parts are being used and right steps are being taken
• Review parts to make sure there are no defects, gather necessary tools and assemble parts as needed to fulfill work order
• Troubleshoot and fix rejected items to ensure high quality level and compliance with specifications
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire 8-hour shift
