What We Offer
- 2nd Shift; 4-Day Work Week Monday - Thursday
- WEEKLY PAY on Fridays
- $21 - $30 Pay Range Plus $1 Shift Premium (pay based on verifiable experience that includes a weld test)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Welder must be able to pass three weld certification tests that involve SMAW, FCAW, & SAW.
- SMAW & FCAW will be 1" thick in the 3G position. SAW will be in the 1G position.
- All Weld tests must pass visual, RT, and bend inspection.
- Welder must be able to use grinders and other hand/pneumatic tools.
- Welder must be able perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work in a standing position during a regular 8 to 10 hour day.
- The operator must be able to use, pull and guide material with the aid of overhead cranes or jib hoists.
- The operator must be able to hold welding guns or stingers in their hand to perform all welding operations.
- The operator must be able to handle up to 20 pounds on a constant basis throughout the day, 20 to 50 pounds frequently during the day, 50 to 100 pounds occasionally during the day.
- Push, pull, bend, squat, stoop and twist comfortable many times throughout the day
- Must be able to tolerate ambient air temperatures during all times of the year.
- Must be able to communicate with fellow workers regarding instructions, general work assignments and safety concerns.
