Bar Back at Stumpy's Lakeside Grill

“Stumpy's Lakeside Grill” is a self-serve, fast paced restaurant and marina located on Lake Granbury in Granbury TX. Our facility features a restaurant, bar, bakery, boutique, ship store, kayak sales, gas station, boat rental service, and boat slip leasing. We offer seasonal, full time, and part time positions in almost every area of service with opportunity for advancement.

Bar back is a great opportunity to anyone interested in learning to bartend with a possible future role as a bartender! Although the position is generally part time there are tons of opportunities in other department for extra hours.

Responsibilities

• Backup bartender
• Refill low and empty bar stock
• Change kegs
• Clear empty bar glasses from bar top
• Clean and replenish glass supply
• Restock ice
• Assist bartender in opening and closing of bar
• Sweeping, moping, and wiping of any dirty surfaces

Requirements

• Must be presentable, clean, professional, and personable (you are the face people see so you are expected to be friendly)
• TX food handlers certification
• TABC certification
• Proactive at identifying and completing work needs
• Ability to recognize needs and respond accordingly
• Great spoken and written communication
