Project Manager

Summary:

Provide project management and client-facing project coordination for client center (large project & channel) orders, guiding client engagements from RFQ/RFP through sales order management, production, and field operations/installation, while supporting Project Management Office (PMO) standards, governance, and continuous improvement efforts. This is an individual-contributor role with no supervisory responsibilities; may support facility or strategic projects as assigned to help meet PMO capacity needs. Ensure all work aligns with organizational strategy, client commitments, and PMO best practices. This role includes responsibility for any project assigned by the PMO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop/manage project plans – responsible for defining project charter, identifying stakeholders, communication plans, risk analysis, maintaining issues logs, change order management, constraints, scope, budget, milestones, success criteria, and project governance.
• Manage client (large) projects end-to-end: RFQ/RFP support, sales order intake, quote-to-invoice tracking, MG1/MG2 workflow status, MRP status, production handoff, and field operations/installation/deployment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams internal and external to STULZ (Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Applications, BOM Configuration, Client Services, Shipping, Carriers, Accounting, Reps, End Users, GCs, contractors, vendors).
• Facilitate meetings; manage follow-up and escalation paths with KAMs, RSMs, NSMs, and reps.
• Project management plans created, maintained and managed through Monday.com
• Act as primary liaison between external customers and STULZ internal teams.
• Translate operational requirements between internal and external parties for alignment.
• Drive accountability across stakeholders to meet project deadlines/deliverables.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risk throughout the project(s).
• Ensure business continuity during transition phases and go-live environments.
• Provide KPI’s as assigned to the Director of PMO; provide Executive level status reporting weekly or daily as requested- on scope, schedule, budget, risks, and operational readiness (RAG reports)
• Maintain ISO conformance – validate processes are documented and operational controls are in place.
• Support PMO in developing/refining project management standards, templates, and methodologies.
• Assist with project audits, lessons learned, and compliance reviews.
• Contribute to resource planning and capacity management activities within the PMO.
• Operational back up to any role on the project team.
• Must be available for onsite Frederick MD in-person support- hybrid.
• Some travel to other facilities and vendor/contractor/client locations as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Minimum Associates Degree in business preferred.
• PMP preferred- or CAPM and 5 years project management experience. PMP certification is required within 90 days of onboarding.
• Must have 3-5 years prior experience in project management
• SAP S/4 Hana experience preferred
• Advanced PC skills including Monday.com, MS Project, SAC, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other related software packages preferred.
• Experience supporting client- or customer-facing project delivery (RFQ through installation) preferred.
