About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Assurance Analyst to help ensure every release of StudyFetch delivers a seamless, high-quality experience. You’ll execute manual testing across our web and mobile platforms, validate bug fixes, and work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Support teams to catch issues before they reach our users. This role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes pride in upholding product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing across StudyFetch’s web and mobile applications
- Create, document, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans
- Identify, log, and track defects using Linear
- Collaborate with engineers, engineering manager, and product manager to reproduce, diagnose, and prioritize issues
- Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing as part of release cycles
- Support UAT (user acceptance testing) and accessibility reviews where applicable
- Validate bug fixes and confirm stability across environments before release
- Provide clear QA feedback and insights to improve release quality and team efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in QA, ideally within a SaaS or consumer-facing tech company
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and test design principles
- Experience testing across both web and mobile platforms
- Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with Agile/Scum processes and defect-tracking workflows
- Bonus: Exposure to automated testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright) or API testing
