We are able to accomplish this by partnering with schools, outreach programs, and other college and career access organizations to provide efficient and effective college and career access programming and classroom-based test preparation.

Job Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Early Literacy Tutoring/ Literacy & Homework Lab
• Grades: K - 8th
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students
  
  

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired with K - 8th Grade
• Must be bilingual (Spanish)
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours: Must be available Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM PST
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Salary And Benefits

• Excellent rate of pay: $40 an hour based on location
• Paid Onboarding/ Training / Preparation / Support: $22.00 an hour
