The Study at University City is seeking hospitality-driven On-Call Banquet Servers to support meetings, events, and catered functions throughout the hotel. This role is responsible for delivering attentive, professional food and beverage service while creating a seamless, memorable guest experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment while maintaining a polished and guest-focused presence.

Banquet Operations Snapshot

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service during banquet and catered events.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and service preparation.
• Ensure banquet spaces are clean, organized, and service-ready prior to events.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout events and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, allergy considerations, and beverage offerings.
• Communicate effectively with banquet leadership and culinary teams to support smooth event execution.
• Assist fellow team members to ensure successful operation of events and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Fundamentals

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible on-call schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and guest-focused demeanor.
• Proficiency in English required; a second language is a plus.
• Ability to lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.

The property is home to CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge, a lively 120-seat restaurant and lounge known for spirited hospitality and seasonal menus.
