Role Description
This is a seasoned role, for an attorney with a book of business ready to join our team. The position is a full-time intellectual property trial attorney with full or partial remote work flexibility. Our home office is in Denver, Colorado but we are flexible and have attorneys around the country. The successful candidate will manage trial preparation, court appearances, motion practice, and depositions, while working on intellectual property cases and related legal matters. Mentoring and overseeing our growing team is imperative. Additional responsibilities include legal strategy development, client advocacy, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including creative professionals, to provide innovative solutions aligned with client goals. Our ideal candidate is looking to have flexibility in their daily life, while working to build a practice in a fun and entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Law, including knowledge of intellectual property law and related regulations
- Experience drafting and managing Motions and participating in Motion hearings
- Proficiency in working within Courts, managing legal filings, and navigating court proceedings
- Skilled in handling Trials, including preparation, litigation strategy, and case presentation
- Experience conducting Depositions and managing discovery processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active licensure
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Prior experience in intellectual property litigation is a strong advantage
