Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Conduct oral assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Execute dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Utilize dental software such as OpenDental annd EZDenti for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with patients to educate them on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control standards and utilizing proper medical imaging techniques for diagnosis.
- Stay current with advances in dental terminology, medical terminology, and emerging technologies to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge care.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in all required areas.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on patient care and assessment.
- 1 year experience practicing general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental office management software such as OpenDental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, and dental fabrication processes.
- Experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, medical imaging procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
