Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Dental Assistant role located in Waterford, MI. The Dental Assistant supports dentists during examinations and procedures, prepares treatment rooms, and ensures instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, organized, and sterilized. Daily responsibilities include assisting with patient intake, updating records, providing chairside support, and offering clear instructions on oral care and post-treatment guidelines. The role also involves managing supplies, maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment, and contributing to a positive experience for patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care to support patient education and clinical procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Dentistry and Dental Assisting to provide effective chairside support and treatment preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization to maintain strict infection control and safety standards.
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant on-the-job experience is preferred.
- Current dental assistant certification or licensure, as required by Michigan regulations, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records and scheduling systems.
