Overview Studio R is a high-end content production and creative marketing agency headquartered in Washington, D.C., known for elevated storytelling, premium brand aesthetics, and white-glove client service. We are expanding our footprint across the DMV and seeking a  Sales Representative to accelerate growth of our retainer packages with mid-market and enterprise clients.This role is designed for a polished, driven hunter with strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of creative and marketing ecosystems. Role SummaryTitle: Sales RepresentativeLocation: DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)Compensation: Base High-Tier Commission performance bonusReports to: CEOThe Sales Representative will expand Studio R’s client base across corporate, nonprofit, hospitality, lifestyle, and professional service sectors using a consultative sales approach aligned with our premium brand. Key Responsibilities1. Prospecting & Lead GenerationTarget and engage businesses that match Studio R’s ideal client profiles.Build and manage a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic relationship building.Identify and reach decision-makers such as CMOs, Marketing Directors, Founders, and Brand Managers.2. Consultative Sales & Client EngagementConduct polished discovery meetings and sales presentations that reflect Studio R’s premium positioning.Diagnose client needs and align them with the appropriate Studio R retainer offering.Communicate Studio R’s unique value: premium creative execution, strategic content architecture, and seamless production.3. Closing & Revenue GrowthManage the full sales cycle end-to-end.Hit monthly and quarterly targets driven by retainer package sales.Collaborate with leadership and creative teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.4. Territory ExpansionIncrease Studio R’s visibility across the DMV through in-person meetings, events, and local partnerships.Provide market insights that inform sales strategy, packaging, and pricing. Studio R’s Sales Training & Support PackageTo set the Sales Representative up for immediate traction and long-term success, Studio R provides a complete sales infrastructure, including:Comprehensive Sales TrainingOnboarding workshops covering Studio R’s brand, service ecosystem, and sales methodology.Guidance on our consultative selling approach for high-end creative services.Sales Enablement PackageDefined ICPs (primary, secondary, and strategic growth segments).Clear revenue targets and activity expectations.Commission structure with detailed tiers, bonuses, and accelerators.Pre-qualified lead list sourced from Studio R’s network, inbound interest, and target sectors.Service cheat sheets outlining deliverables, value props, and common objections.Proposal templates, pitch decks, and retainer package breakdowns.Access to Studio R’s CRM with full pipeline visibility and automated tracking tools.This system ensures the rep enters the market with clarity, confidence, and the materials needed to convert high-value clients quickly. QualificationsRequired3 years of sales experience in creative services, marketing, media, SaaS, or agency environments.Proven ability to close new business and hit revenue targets.Sophisticated communication and presentation skills.Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a commission-only environment.Understanding of marketing and brand strategy fundamentals.PreferredExisting DMV network across corporate, nonprofit, hospitality, lifestyle, or professional services industries.Experience selling retainer agreements or long-term service contracts.Working knowledge of Monday.com and Slack Compensation & IncentivesHigh-commission structure with uncapped earnings.Quarterly performance bonuses.Additional incentives for multi-month or enterprise-level retainers.Opportunity for expanded roles as Studio R scales nationally and internationally. What Success Looks LikeConsistent monthly retainer sales.Strong pipeline management with accurate forecasting.Brand-aligned, high-touch interactions with prospects.Long-term client relationships and repeat business.
