Design Professional (6–10 Years) – Multifamily
Studio PBA is seeking a Design Professional to support the design and delivery of multifamily housing projects, locally and nationally. This role is ideal for a well-rounded architectural professional who can contribute across all phases, from concept through construction, while working in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of multifamily projects (garden-style, podium, mixed-use, urban infill)
- Apply strong knowledge of unit planning, building systems, and code compliance (IBC, accessibility, life safety)
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Take ownership of project components, including drawings, specifications, and material selections
- Solve design and technical challenges independently, collaborating with leadership on complex issues
- Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Utilize advanced techniques and contribute to improving project workflows
- Mentor and support junior team members as needed
- 6–10 years of experience, ideally in multifamily or residential architecture
- Licensure preferred but not required
- Strong experience in construction documentation (wood-frame, podium, or concrete)
- Solid understanding of zoning and building codes
- Proficiency in Revit
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Nationally recognized multifamily portfolio
