Duties
- Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Verify that each dish meets restaurant specifications before it reaches the guest, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, prioritizing tickets based on timing and guest needs
- Communicate effectively with culinary team regarding special requests, dietary restrictions, or modifications
- Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
- Support the kitchen by bussing tables when needed and helping with food preparation tasks during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote efficiency and safety
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations is highly preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Kitchen experience or background helps in understanding food preparation and presentation standards
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques ensures compliance with health regulations

In addition to the hourly rate of pay our team members earn close to an additional $6.00 an hour in our Tip Share program we have at Studio One Cafe.
