Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with opportunities for remote work. The Architect at Studio Khora will be responsible for designing and managing architectural projects, from concept to completion. Daily tasks include contributing to the development of architectural designs, preparing construction documents, collaborating with clients to meet project requirements, and ensuring adherence to sustainable design principles. The Architect will also work on integrating software tools and systems to streamline design and project management processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong understanding of contemporary and sustainable design principles
- Experience in Project Management, including the ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and coordination with clients and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration tools for efficient design and architectural workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, with licensure required
- Experience with parametric design, energy-efficient systems, and responsible material sourcing is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant architectural and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar)
- Knowledge of zoning codes, compliance standards, and permitting processes in South Florida is advantageous
