What You’ll Be Doing
In this trainee position, you’ll learn how to confidently and professionally represent major charitable partners:
- Setting up and supporting branded promotional stands at community venues, retail locations, and indoor pop-up events
- Engaging members of the public through warm, genuine, face-to-face conversations
- Clearly communicating each organisation’s mission, values, and global impact
- Explaining how ongoing supporter contributions fund long-term programmes, emergency response efforts, and community development initiatives
- Encouraging ethical and compliant donor sign-ups while maintaining a professional approach
- Accurately recording supporter information in line with campaign and compliance guidelines
- Working closely with your team to share ideas, improve performance, and celebrate group success
- Taking part in daily coaching and development sessions focused on communication, storytelling, and brand representation
- Supporting the full donor sign-up process from initial conversation through completion, with the goal of securing long-term campaign support
