Studio GAIA is an award-winning interior design firm based in Miami, specializing in the
hospitality industry.
We are seeking a full-time Interior Designer / CAD Drafter with a hospitality design background
to join our team in our new Miami office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating and developing the design with principal and other team members
- Proficient with AutoCAD software to create detailed designs and drawings such as plans, elevations, and details
- Work from rough sketches and specifications given by principal and team members
- Create realistic 3D models using Revit
Minimum Requirements:
- BA in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality design
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required
- Knowledge of FF&E Specifications
- Ability to work independently and as well as within a team
- Experience with 3DS Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Must be a self-starter and eager to participate in all aspect of design process
