Duties
- Lead engaging Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants
- Design innovative Pilates programs that incorporate principles of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to maximize results
- Provide personalized coaching and modifications to accommodate individual needs and fitness levels
- Educate clients on core strength, flexibility, posture, and breathing techniques to improve overall well-being
- Support group fitness sessions with enthusiasm, fostering a motivating environment that encourages participation and progression
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to integrate Pilates into comprehensive training plans including CrossFit, yoga, cycling, or personal training sessions
- Promote membership engagement by demonstrating the benefits of Pilates and related fitness activities to prospective clients
Skills
- Proven experience teaching Pilates in a gym or health club setting with strong group fitness skills
- Deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and how body mechanics influence movement and exercise outcomes
- Ability to design effective Pilates programs that incorporate elements of sports coaching, dancing, or yoga as appropriate
- Familiarity with fitness sales techniques to motivate clients and promote class participation
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and inspire confidence in diverse groups
- Experience with other fitness disciplines such as Kickboxing, CrossFit, cycling, or personal training is a plus
- Passion for health promotion and commitment to creating an energetic and inclusive class atmosphere
