Assistant Manager - Elsas - Muskegon

Celebration Carousel in Muskegon is looking for an Assistant Manager who will be responsible for the managing the daily operations of Elsa’s. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing daily operations of food and beverage service and will require a 30 hour/week work schedule. Other responsibilities include: ensuring product quality, managing safety and security in the food and guest environment, managing inventory and purchase controls and striving to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain a consistently high-quality experience for all guests, ensuring clean and safety standards of the facility and operation.
• Monitor, order and control proper inventory and audit deliveries for accuracy.
• Display a guest centric attitude by training and holding team members accountable for delivering Celebrated Service.
• Plan, identify, communicate, and appropriate responsibilities and practices to team members, to ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Lead training, evaluating, motivating and coaching all employees. This process may include hiring future staff.
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience as a barista is preferred.
• Serv Safe Food and Allergen Certification preferred
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required. Shifts will vary on a weekly basis between regular office hours to late into the night.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
