Animal training facility located approximately 5 miles west of I-5, off Highway 126, is looking for part-time kennel help. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, comfortable around animals, and able to work independently.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and must have a reliable personal vehicle, as public transportation is not available to our location.
This position involves working with and around animals, extensive cleaning, and spending a significant amount of time outdoors. Applicants should be in good physical condition and able to tolerate heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, hot weather, rain, and other outdoor conditions.
Dependability is a must.
Schedule:
Shifts are typically 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM. We are looking for someone available to work weekdays, weekends, and most holidays.
Approximately 12-20 hours a week available.

- Previous animal care experience is a plus

- Willing and able to work outdoors in hot weather and rain
Duties Include:
- Feeding dogs, cats, ducks, birds, and squirrels
- Medicating animals according to medical charts
- Closely following written schedules for specialty care and feeding
- Rotating dogs and groups of dogs in exercise yards
- Socializing new animals and providing animal enrichment
- Cleaning animal facilities
- Washing dishes and doing laundry
- Managing animal water supply, including lifting large water bottles
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of all animal kennels
- General maintenance and repairs
- Other projects as time permits
