Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Certified Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic health club team. This role involves designing and leading engaging Pilates classes for diverse groups, utilizing your skills in anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to ensure safe and effective workouts. A background in related disciplines such as yoga, dance, CrossFit, or personal training is highly valued to enhance program diversity and client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead group Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Develop customized Pilates programs that incorporate principles of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics.
- Provide individual coaching sessions to help clients improve flexibility, strength, and posture.
- Incorporate complementary fitness disciplines such as yoga, cycling, or CrossFit to diversify class offerings.
- Educate clients on proper form and movement techniques to prevent injury and maximize results.
- Promote a positive and motivating environment that encourages client retention and satisfaction.
- Assist with fitness assessments and progress tracking for clients’ personalized workout plans.
- Stay current with industry trends in fitness sales, program design, and health club best practices.
Experience
- Certified Pilates Instructor certification required; additional certifications in yoga, personal training, or group fitness are a plus.
- Experience teaching Pilates in a gym or health club setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to fitness instruction.
- Background in related disciplines such as dance, sports coaching, cycling, or CrossFit enhances instructional versatility.
- Proven ability to teach group fitness classes with enthusiasm and professionalism.
