Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and appliances are hygienic and safe.
• Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently and safely.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents; reorder stock as needed to ensure continuous operation.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or requests; provide friendly customer service at all times.
• Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning to enhance overall property appearance.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines related to janitorial work, custodial procedures, and handling cleaning chemicals.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with strong janitorial or custodial background.
• Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment and tools for floor care, surface sanitation, and carpet maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling techniques for sanitation products.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple spaces.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting; ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail in dusting, surface cleaning, and sanitation procedures to ensure thoroughness.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration in outdoor or indoor environments.
• Experience with outdoor work environments is preferred; familiarity with outdoor cleaning techniques is a plus.
