Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Sanitate surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain the appearance and longevity of flooring materials.
- Launder linens, towels, and other textiles as needed, ensuring they are clean and fresh for use.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as waste disposal and inventory management of cleaning supplies.
- Cook simple meals when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness before and after meal preparation.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently while adhering to established protocols and schedules.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing cleaning or maintenance.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
