Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, offices, or residential spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Follow safety procedures and use proper handling techniques for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and promptly address any cleanliness issues
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to established standards of quality and safety
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to maintain overall facility standards
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure every space is spotless and well-maintained
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management is highly desirable
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly
