We are seeking an experienced Project Leader who is passionate about architecture, enjoys working across multiple project types, and is ready to take ownership of project delivery while mentoring and collaborating with team members.
Position Overview
The Project Leader will serve as a key member of our architectural team, leading project execution while remaining actively involved in production and technical development. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both project management and hands-on architectural work.
Licensure is not required; however, ideal candidates should be on an architectural career path with strong technical knowledge and demonstrated project leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate architectural projects from design through construction administration.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and internal team coordination.
- Coordinate and direct engineering consultants and specialty consultants.
- Prepare and oversee construction document production in Revit.
- Develop architectural details and technical solutions.
- Review project documents for quality, constructability, and code compliance.
- Research and apply applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and life safety regulations.
- Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and project presentations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, designers, and leadership.
- Assist in mentoring and developing junior staff members.
- Support construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and field coordination.
Qualifications
- 7 years of professional architectural experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Revit is required.
- Demonstrated experience producing and coordinating construction documents.
- Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and life safety requirements.
- Experience managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Architectural licensure is a plus but not required.
