Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graphic Designer based in Lexington, KY. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs, developing branding materials, designing logos, and working on typography elements. Day-to-day tasks will include collaboration with team members and clients to conceptualize and execute graphics that align with project objectives and branding strategies, ensuring all work meets high creative and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and layout of advertising materials for print and digital publication.
- Development of comprehensive brochure, catalog, and print collateral.
- Creation of compelling social media graphics, web banners, and digital assets.
- Production of point-of-sale materials and event signage.
- Ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence across all client projects.
- Collaborating effectively with the internal team, clients and vendors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of experience in advertising layout and design.
- High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and print production processes.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative team-player attitude.
- Willingness to receive and integrate constructive feedback into design iterations.
Location & Logistics
- Local Candidates Only: Must currently reside near Lexington, KY or willing to commute. This is a strict requirement.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Knowledge or previous exposure to the Thoroughbred horse racing, breeding, or sales industry is a significant plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
