Pilates Instructor-Mat or Reformer

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor specializing in either Mat or Reformer classes to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and a commitment to helping clients achieve their wellness goals through effective Pilates instruction. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of body mechanics, and the ability to create engaging and safe workout programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging Pilates classes for individuals and groups, focusing on both Mat and Reformer techniques.
• Design and implement customized fitness programs that cater to the diverse needs of clients.
• Provide clear instruction on exercises, ensuring proper form and technique to prevent injuries.
• Assess clients’ fitness levels and progress, offering modifications as needed to accommodate various skill levels.
• Foster a welcoming and motivating environment that encourages client participation and retention.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in Pilates, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to enhance teaching methods.
• Collaborate with other fitness professionals, including personal trainers and group fitness instructors, to promote a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Certification in Pilates instruction (Mat or Reformer) is required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics is essential.
• Previous experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is preferred.
• Excellent teaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate clients of all backgrounds.
• Experience in program design tailored to individual client needs is highly desirable.
