Studio Administrative & Production Assistant
Studio 139 is looking for a dependable, highly organized and friendly person to join our photography studio team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with computers and can help keep a busy studio organized and running smoothly.
This position can be part-time or full-time depending on the applicant’s skills, experience and availability. We are also open to hiring two part-time employees if that is the best fit.
This is a year-round position and is not seasonal or summer-only.
What You’ll Do
This is a varied position with responsibilities that may include:
- Answering phone calls and communicating professionally with clients
- Responding to emails, texts and online messages
- Assisting clients who stop by the studio
- Packaging and organizing portrait orders
- Delivering orders to schools and other local clients
- Entering and placing orders using photography and ordering software
- Keeping track of projects, deadlines and client requests
- Assisting with general studio organization and day-to-day tasks
- Helping with photography jobs and events when needed
Applicants with experience using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom may have opportunities for additional hours and responsibilities, including image editing, culling sessions and other photography related ork.

Photography or Adobe experience is a significant plus, as well as the ability to manage our social media pages. But, neither are necessary. Reliability, communication skills, organization, computer skills and willingness to learn are equally important.
Schedule & Availability
Hours can be somewhat flexible, and we are open to discussing either part-time or full-time employment with the right applicant.
However, afternoon availability is required. Our clients frequently stop by after work, and many of our photography jobs take place after school. Applicants must be able to work later afternoons when scheduled and occasionally assist with photography jobs or other studio needs during those hours.
This position requires year-round availability, including summer.
Specific hours and the number of hours per week will depend on the applicant’s availability, skills and the needs of the studio.

Benefits and Pay
Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience, skills and responsibilities. Applicants with strong Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom skills, photography experience or relevant administrative experience may qualify for higher starting pay.
This position does not currently include employer-sponsored benefits.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
