Summary - Regional Sales Manager, under the direction of the Regional Texas Sales Director, develops a plan and strategy for developing business and achieving it in a dedicated area to generate sales revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Generates revenue in the region and meets the regional quota
  • New Sales
  • Repeat/Renewal
  • Expansion
  • Provides an accurate monthly sales forecast
  • Uses CRM with fidelity
  • Manages budget for the area
  • Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction and experience
  • Monitors customers within region, market and competitor activity, and provides, feedback to the company
  • Manages key customer relationships and participates in closing strategic opportunities
  • Meets with customers onsite to develop key relationships
  • Works closely with Account Managers and Customer Outreach Department to establish successful support for customers
  • Attends conferences to create new opportunities for the company and their individual territories
  • Assumes other responsibilities as specified by Vice President of Sales
  • Provides persuasive presentations
  • Shows a willingness to be a team player and to assist other reps in their territories when needed
  • Follows up with fidelity and punctuality all customer and prospects needs
  • Travel requirement is two weeks each month (residence in sales area preferred).
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Education and Experience –

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Education Sales industry and or teaching/administration experience
  • Proven record in sales forecasting and hitting monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas
  • Experience in building professional relationships with customers
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required

Physical Demands –

The position requires the employee to stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, ascend and descend stairs. Also to reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys, set up audiovisual, etc. The employee is also required to be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. Travel will be required on company business by commercial air, company car, commercial rental car, mass transit when visiting metro areas, or other transportation.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
