What are the responsibilities and job description for the STUDENT-WICB Local Music Director ('26-'27) position at Student?
WICB is looking for a Local Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. We're looking for a student who:
- is able to coordinate with local and Western NY artists, conduct interviews and host a weekly radio show (Homebrew), and catalog our local music library (including fielding new music submissions);
- is organized and detail-oriented;
- is a strong communicator both in-person and via email;
- is able to attend weekly WICB Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings (Wednesdays at 6:30-7 p.m.);
- has been a member of WICB for at least one semester;
- is a collaborative team player.
